Prior to co-founding EVE Partners, Mr. Mamo was managing partner of Atlantic Financial Partners, LLC (“AFP”), a Charleston, SC based investment banking boutique, where he provided financial advice concerning mergers and acquisitions, private placements and financial restructurings to middle market companies. While at AFP, Mr. Mamo focused on domestic infrastructure, completing numerous transactions in the heavy construction, paving, cement and aggregate industries. Mr. Mamo and his partners sold AFP to the hedge fund Seaboard & Co. (USA), LLC in 2000.

Prior to AFP, Mr. Mamo was a founding member and original shareholder of Peers & Co., where he helped to build one of the premier cross-border mergers and acquisitions firms on Wall St. In its growth from a five-person firm in 1985 to 75 professionals worldwide in 1991, Peers & Co. completed 87 buy-side transactions for the Japanese – more than all other investment banks combined during that period. Peers & Co. was acquired by The Kemper Insurance Companies in 1992. Mr. Mamo began his career as an analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. (now Morgan Stanley).

Mr. Mamo has advised clients on transactions valued in excess of $12 billion, including more than 50 transactions in the transportation and logistics industry. He developed EVE’s proprietary financial forecasting models for both asset and non-asset based companies, and is responsible for the firm’s research group. Further, through EVE Holdings, LLC, Mr. Mamo is an investor in numerous transportation and logistics companies and continues to be an active co-investor with EVE’s clients.

Mr. Mamo is a graduate of Washington & Lee University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude. He is married and has two children. EVE Partners end mark
